Julie Franck
President
Julie Franck holds a doctorate in psychology and is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Geneva. Since 2017, she has been involved in research, teaching and civic engagement initiatives on migration issues at the university. She coordinates an interfaculty course on forced migration and the UNI-R student-migrant tandems programme at the Global Studies Institute. She is president of the association Les Cafés solidaires, which offers a weekly meeting place for academics and migrants at the university cafeteria. She also founded the Geneva-based association Yaffa with Ahmed Alazbat, following her visit to Gaza in 2018.
Joe-Alexy Yagchi
Secretary
Joe-Alexy Yagchi is a primary school teacher and is training in special education. He participates in the development of educational projects linked to social justice.
Jean-Sébastien Graulich
Treasurer
Jean-Sébastien Graulich holds a doctorate in physics and teaches physics and mathematics at secondary schools in Geneva. He is also a field instructor and lecturer in physics didactics at the University of Geneva.
Nuné Nikoghosyan
Website Manager
Nuné Nikoghosyan holds a doctorate in sociology and is interested in cultural and scientific diplomacy. She works at the International Relations and Partnerships Office of the University of Geneva.
Social Media Manager
Hind Trawa has a degree in digital marketing and communications. Committed and passionate, she is eager to put her skills at the service of projects with a positive impact, reflecting her sensitivity to social causes.
Member
Madeleine Gahigiri hold a degree in philosophy and literature and is a retired teacher at the Collège de Genève. Concerned about the future of the world in which our children will live, she likes to take part in actions for more justice in the world and for more respect for all beings.
